This is the last in Bardstown’s Fusion Series, which combined young bourbon made on their 100-acre estate with longer-aged bourbons from other distilleries. This is labelled as their favourite creation to date, and is a combination of two of their 4-year-old high rye bourbons with a 12 Year Old whiskey from another Kentucky producer.
Tasting notes from Bardstown:
Waves of butterscotch and ripe cherry meet mint, coconut, and black pepper. A luscious mouthfeel of red fruit and maple leads to an indulgent finish of caramel sweetness with lasting rye spice.
