Made at Leiper’s Fork in Frankin County, Tennessee, this is a pot-still bourbon made with a mash bill of 70% Corn, 15% Wheat and 15% Malted Barley. Bottled in Bond means that this five year old bourbon is the product of one harvest and it has been mashed, fermented, distilled, aged and bottled all on the distillery site.
Tasting notes from Leiper’s Fork:
Rich aromas of freshly made pralines coated in rich mild chocolate beautifully blends with notes of antique oak and fig jam. Delightful rich flavours of butterscotch, sweet herbs, and dried citrus smoothly coats the palate. The finish is a complex balance of fresh mint, luxardo cherries and maple cinnamon cookies.
