Never Say Die create what could be termed early landed bourbons and rums – spirits which are distilled in Kentucky and then aged in England. This rye whiskey is made with a mash bill of 56% rye, 33% corn and 11% malted barley.
Never Say Die is named after the first American horse to win the Epsom Derby. In the process of doing so it made a lot of money for one young lady, who used her winnings to buy a house and music venue which would end up hosting the band which later became The Beatles.
